Macro setup
An important factor when working with campaigns is the ability to transmit the IDs of the ad sites on which materials are being displayed. Transmitting these IDs allows you to analyze the traffic flow across sites and optimize the advertising campaign accordingly.
Macros for URL parameters
The following macros can be added to your campaign URL:
- {click_id} — sends the click ID;
- {site_id} — sends the website ID;
- {ad_id} — sends the ad ID;
- {campaign_id} — sends the campaign ID;
- {country_code} — sends the country code;
- {city} — sends the city name;
- {subdivision} — sends the GEO region;
- {page_cat_id} — sends the page category;
- {cpc} — sends the click cost in the selected currency;
- {price_model} — sends the price model;
- {sub_age} — sends the user's subscription age;
- {browser} — sends the browser name;
- {language} — sends the browser language;
- {platform} — sends the OS name;
- {platform_version} — sends the OS version;
- {device} — sends the device name.
Macros for creative text
You can also add macros to the text of the creative. The following macros are available:
- {city} — city macro;
- {area} — region macro.
For example, if you create a material with the text "For residents of {city} there is a promotion available", a user from New York will see: "For residents of New York there is a promotion available".
Supported languages for these two macros in creatives at the moment: de, fr, ru, es, ja, pt, zh, en.
