Moderation of advertisements
Moderation is the verification of an advertisement and advertised resource for compliance with service rules Kadam.
During moderation, the moderator examines both the content of the advertisement (both textual and graphic) and the content of the landing and landing page to which it leads.
If the ad and landing do not violate the rules of service, then the moderator activates the ad. During activation, the moderator assigns a heading corresponding to the subject matter of the material. Also, based on the ad image, the moderator puts a mark "shock", if the announcement relates to such.
The status of "premium" is also assigned during the activation of an advertisement.
Ad category and the presence of shock and premium statuses can be seen opposite a specific ad in the list of all campaign ads.
Ads in the Kadam service are moderated around the clock in the order of the queue as they arrive. Usually moderation of ads lasts no more than half an hour.
If an ad does not match at least one of the items in the Kadam service rules - such an ad cannot be allowed by the moderator.
The moderator blocks such an ad and indicates the reason for its blocking, which the advertiser may see in front of the blocked ad in the list of all campaign materials.
For successful moderation of the advertisement (its activation), the advertiser must eliminate the reason for the initial blocking of the advertisement.
If the reason for the blocking is not clear to the advertiser, then he can request information using the “clarify the reason” button.
If the advertiser does not agree with the reason for blocking the ad or assigning any status, then he can send a request for a review of the moderator’s decision.
In addition to the moderation described above, there is also an external moderation of advertising materials.
External moderation is moderation of ads from external sources of traffic. Requirements for advertising materials from external sources may differ from the requirements of the Kadam service, and materials may be blocked regardless of whether they are allowed by our internal moderation.
The office displays three status of external moderation of advertising materials: waiting for verification, approved, prohibited.
Waiting for verification means that the ad is not yet activated and not blocked. Currently the ad is under consideration (moderation) from external sources of traffic. The time taken for consideration of an advertisement by external sources differs from the Kadam internal moderation time and can last from half an hour to several hours. Kadam can’t affect the speed of checking ads by external sources.
Approved means that the ad was successfully moderated and allowed to show on external traffic sources.
Forbidden means that the ad is blocked for display on external traffic sources. However, ad impressions are available from internal sources.
Ads approved by external sources may be prohibited after some time. The reasons for the ban on ads by external sources are not transmitted to our system, because Kadam cannot provide information about blocking the advertiser. As a solution to this situation, the advertiser can reload the ad.
