An advertising campaign is a combination of settings aimed at obtaining the desired result by the advertiser. In most cases, this is an increase in the number of customers and, accordingly, the company's income.
In order to create an advertising company in Kadam, we go to our personal account and press "Create Campaign".

Basic Campaign Settings

The most important parameter when creating an advertising campaign is the format. You can select a format from an existing list, and then click "Next".
IMPORTANT: Once the campaign is saved, you won't be able to change the format.
Possible ad formats:

  • Native — consists of a picture with intriguing text that catches attention and stimulates you to commit a targeted action.
  • Banner — is static, dynamic and interactive. A wide range of available sizes will allow you to creatively convey any advertising message.
  • Push — users who have agreed to display notifications see ads consisting of a title, description and photo. When you click on the push notification, the system automatically goes to the landing page.
  • Popunder — popunder is activated when you click on any area of the site. This opens your landing page in a new tab or window.
  • On-Site Push — is an advertising block that looks like a native notification on the site. At the same time, the user does not need to subscribe to mailings in advance or agree to receive notifications - the notification will appear when the user visits the site.

Then access to subsequent groups of settings will be opened.

  • Select Campaign Group - to organize ad campaigns
  • The name of the campaign - we recommend calling it so that in the future it is easy to navigate among other campaigns.
  • Payment model - for clicks, for shows, CPA Target.
  • Traffic Quality - A choice between Good traffic and all available traffic.
  • Campaign URL is a link that users will navigate to.
  • Set up conversion statuses - Select a template if you are working with a partner program. Otherwise, leave the fields blank. If you do not have a suitable template, contact support or your manager.
  • Countries and rates by country - a list of available GEOs. You can select all countries of a particular continent at once, or you can specify a specific country. Here, too, you specify the desired CPC and conversion price target - the average price you want to pay for each conversion.
  • Cities - Inclusion and exclusion of cities/regions.
  • ISP - Enabling and excluding mobile operators.

Targeting

After completing the basic settings, the system will offer to select targeting. The following parameters are present here:

  • Platform - Determines which platforms will display ads.
  • OS (operating system) - determines on which versions of platforms advertising will be shown.
  • Device - determines which devices will show advertising.
  • Browser - Determines which browsers will display ads.
  • Browser Language - Configure to display ads only to users whose browser is in one of the languages selected in this setting.
  • Connection type - Traffic delimitation is available for 3G/LTE and WI-FI.
  • Categories - allows you to specify categories - Adult Content, News, Mainstream, on which ads will be shown.

A selection of narrower categories is available in the "News" category. These are all categories of pages on which creatives will be placed, so there is a possibility that when choosing the narrowest category, traffic may be very low.

  • Subscription Age - Set to show ads only to users whose site subscription dates match one of the selected values in the setup. Available only for Push Classic campaign format.
  • Retargeting is a marketing technology that allows you to show your ads to exactly those users who have previously visited your site but have not taken a targeted action. The peculiarity and main difference between retargeting and other advertising is that you show ads only to the audience that was interested in your goods or services and spend the budget only on the target audience. This tool can be used to push for a targeted action: purchase, deposit, lead, etc.

To enable/disable retarget, you'll need to create an audience for your current campaigns. To do this, see [Create an audience].

  • Black and white list by site - specify the site ID, each entry from a new line. The blacklist allows you to block ads on a specific site. Promotional materials from the white list will be shown only on sites from this list.
  • IP Range Whitelist - Specify the IP address ranges by which your ad will be displayed. Each entry from a new line, comma, semicolon, space. You can specify values in IP subnet format, IP range (dashed), or CIDR format. When you save, the addresses will be converted to a range list. The maximum number of IP ranges is 10,000. The minimum range size is 8 IP.
  • Source Blacked and White List - Specify the source IDs for which you want to include/exclude ads.

Limits, Budget and Limits

The setting of targeting is followed by the parameters of the budget, limits and restrictions.
Basic settings:

  • Total Budget - the maximum amount that can be paid by the advertiser for the entire duration of the campaign for targeted user actions.
  • Budget per day - the maximum amount that can be paid by the advertiser in one day according to the targeted actions of users carried out under the current campaign. It is mandatory to fill in the setting.

IMPORTANT: When setting these restrictions, keep in mind that they may be exceeded. With wide targeting in the campaign, the specified indicator can be exceeded several times.

  • Uniform distribution per day is an option so that material training takes place evenly on all targeted sites.
  • Maximum Loss - Enter the amount of the maximum possible loss for the campaign (Spent minus Earned) after which the campaign will be suspended.

IMPORTANT: Attention! When setting restrictions, keep in mind that the limit may be exceeded.

  • Show material not more often - specify the number and frequency of displays of advertising material to one user.
  • Show campaign not more often - specify the number and frequency of advertising campaign displays to one user.
  • Maximum Number of Transitions per Day is the total number of user transitions that can be performed on current campaign ads in one day. The minimum value for the field is 100.
  • Minimum number of impressions per day - This limit allows you not to display ads on sites that have fewer than the number of daily impressions.
  • Maximum number of impressions per day - This limit allows you not to display ads on sites that have a daily number of impressions greater than a specified number.
  • Maximum conversions per day - In this field, you can limit the maximum number of conversions per day. Once this limit is reached, the campaign will be suspended.
  • Campaign Start Date - Two functions are available to launch the current campaign: Immediately and Set (date and time).
  • Campaign Stop Date - Only one Set (date and time) function is available. Attention! If you are not limited by the duration of the campaign, leave the field blank, and in the Campaign start date field, select Immediately.
  • Schedule - Set up to indicate the desired time and days of the week for the campaign to run. For convenience, buttons with standard time have been added, which are most often used by our advertisers - Weekdays, Weekends, Working hours.

To adjust the schedule, you can manually mark the time and days of the week to show your campaign with check marks.
It is also possible to adjust the time zone in two versions - UTC + 3 and User time - the user's time zone, advertising will be shown to him only by his time.

After all the necessary settings are made, you should click on the "Create" button to save the selected settings in the campaign.
