Configuring postback for appsflyer

To configure Appsflyer with Kadam you need to follow these steps:
1)Go to the dashboard of your apps and click on Integrated partners on the left bar

2)Enter “Kadam” in the search field and click on its logo to open Kadam’s configuration window.

3)Kadam’s configuration window includes 5 active tabs: Integration, Attribution Link, Cost, Ad revenue and Permissions.

Integration

On the first visit here, you will need to toggle below ON the Activate Partner button to enable setup of the integration tab’s parameters. The toggle MUST be ON for as long as you work with the partner.

The following settings are available to Kadam:
Default postback:
“Install” to send this information to Kadam.

In-app events postback:
Activate this function to map your Appsflyer events with Kadam via postbacks. Define the period of the postback window.

Click “Add Event” to add an SDK Event to the list.

Parameter Name Description
SDK Event Name The name of the event, as received by AppsFlyer either from the SDK integrated in your app, or from server to server events.
Partner Event Identifier The unique name or ID of each event, as it is defined on Kadam's side.

Obtain the corresponding Event ID from Kadam and set it in the text field.

Sending Option Select the sending option for the event:

This partner only for events coming only from users attributed to Kadam.

Send Revenue When selected, the event revenue value is sent to Kadam.

Click “Save Integration” to save progress.

Attribution Link
In this tab you can create the attribution links you want to send to Kadam for attributing Kadam’s campaigns, ad sets and single ads.
! Note that Appsflyer DOES NOT save your generated partner’s attribution links.

This tab is divided into different sections:

Attribution link parameters: In this section, select which parameters you want to add to the attribution link.

Adding parameters to the attribution link here enables you to later perform thorough drill-down analyses. Parameters that are already defined on the attribution link can be edited by adding them and their new values here.

Campaign - add it to compare different campaigns running with Kadam.

Attribution link parameters:

Redirection URL (af_r) - Redirect users to the specific URL

Ad ID (af_ad_id) - Provided by the advertiser/publisher

Ad Name (af_ad) - Set ad set names to compare different creatives within specific ad sets within specific Kadam campaigns

Ad Type (af_ad_type) - Set the following ad naming convention: text, banner, interstitial, video, playable;

Adset ID (af_adset_id) - Set Adset Id to compare different adsets within Kadam campaigns;

Adset Name (af_adset) - Set Adset Name to compare different adsets within Kadam campaigns;

Campaign ID (af_c_id) - Set Campaign Id to compare different campaigns within Kadam campaigns;

Channel (af_channel) - Set The media source channel through which the ads are distributed, for example: Kadam_InApp

Cost Currency (af_cost_currency) - 3 letter currency code compliant with ISO-4217. For example, USD, ZAR, EUR

Cost Model (af_cost_model) - Cost model, CPI is currently the only supported Appsflyer model;

Site ID (af_siteid) и Sub Site ID (af_sub_siteid) - Unique ID that identifies the publisher that displays the ad. In case you have a large number of publishers, it is recommended to limit the number of site IDs used and use the sub-site IDs.

Custom Parameters (af_sub1, af_sub2, af_sub3, af_sub4, af_sub5) - 5 parameters, any of which can be used to enter useful data. Note that these parameters are analyzed and displayed in the raw data report, it is convenient for processing and filtering data.


Click-through Attribution

This slider allows you to set the maximum time from click to install. Only installs (first launches) that take place within the lookback window may be attributed to Kadam.

Click attribution link

This is an attribution link that contains all the specified parameters. Provide this link to Kadam.

Cost

The cost tab allows you to enrich your attribution data with your ad spend costs from Kadam.

Ad revenue

Attribute ad revenue to complete the LTV performance view. Ad Revenue data is not supported by Kadam.

Permissions

In this tab, you can select the permissions to grant Kadam.

Kadam acts as an ad network. Also you can configure which members of the Kadam team can monitor the following data.

Allow to configure integration - permit partner to set up the integration tab (except in-app event postbacks)
Allow to configure in-app event postbacks - permit partner to setup in-app event postbacks mapping to itself on the integration tab
Allow access to your retention report - only to partner's own retention data
Allow access to your aggregate loyal user data - only to the partner's own loyal user data
Allow access to your aggregate in-app events data - only to the partner's own in-app events data
Allow access to your aggregate revenue data - only to the revenue data attributed to the partner
Allow access to your use ad spend ingestion - allow partner to upload spend data for your app
Allow access to your Protect360 dashboard - only to the partner's own Protect360 data, and providing the feature is enabled for the advertiser

Note that even if attribution is disabled for Kadam, the permissions tab is active and you can grant control to Kadam
